Apple · Internal Tools
From January 2021 to March 2022, I worked as a dedicated product designer and user researcher on an internal tools team at Apple. Due to NDA restrictions, project-specific details are not shared here.
Key Projects
Designed a platform connecting Apple employees with resources to level up their skills on high-impact productivity tools. I led the branding vision, conducted in-depth interviews and concept testing with users, and developed wireframes through high-fidelity prototypes. The work focused on reducing friction in how employees discover and adopt key collaboration technologies.
I served as a key contributor on a team re-evaluating the purpose and re-imagining an internal IT destination. Led discovery research using both qualitative and quantitative methods, facilitated design sprint workshops with multi-disciplinary stakeholders across the organization, and created 12 overarching user journeys to map critical employee workflows. The project received executive green light and moved into development phase.
Revised interaction and visual design of widely used user guides on the internal support hub. I conducted a comprehensive usability audit, created wireframes and mockups for improved information architecture, coded HTML and CSS updates in the CMS, and drove A/B testing strategy to measure the impact of design improvements on user engagement and support efficiency.
